ISCP receives no institutional support. Its income is largely derived from the participation fees paid by sponsors. Approximately 60% of the program's capacity 
is reserved for artists and curators, pre-selected on merit by their country's arts councils, governments, cultural agencies or foundations through open competition (multi-year sponsors). In order to ensure diversity and enable opportunity, the remaining spaces are occupied by artists and curators who apply directly to ISCP. Please see application procedures under Programs. Sponsors can also be
galleries, corporations or private patrons. Participants are normally sponsored for periods of three months to one year. Sponsor fees and donations are tax-
deductible to the full extent of tax law.

ISCP extends its thanks to the many contributors who make donations or offer in kind support to the program, especially the annual contributions from consulates and cultural institutes in NYC towards the cost of hosting semi-annual Open Weekend Exhibtions, an almost impossible feat without such generosity.
